Record the screen. CyanFocus follows the click.
Every click you make while recording becomes a smooth, editable zoom, and your cursor is redrawn cleanly afterward. Adjust the few moments that need it, then export.
What happens to a single click.
CyanFocus records your screen and, alongside it, where the cursor was, what shape it had and when you clicked. That second stream is what makes the editing quick.
You click
Record the way you normally would. Nothing to mark, no hotkeys to remember.

A focus event appears
The click becomes a block on the Focus track, centred on the spot you clicked.
zoom 1.8×
The frame glides in
The view eases toward the click and back out, so viewers never lose their place.
You fix the exceptions
Move, resize or delete any block. Most recordings only need a couple of changes.
Your Windows cursor, or ours.
CyanFocus records the cursor separately from the screen, so you can switch between your regular Windows cursor and the CyanFocus cursor whenever you like, even after recording. Either way it stays sharp at any size.
A timeline that only shows what you'd change.
Screen, focus and audio. Automatic and manual focus events are the same kind of block, so you edit them the same way.
Created from your clicks while you record.
Pick the Focus tool and click anywhere in the preview, even on imported videos.
Each block carries its own position, zoom level and easing.
Between a recorder and a video editor.
Recorders capture flat video. Editors can do anything, one keyframe at a time. CyanFocus covers the part in between that most screen recordings need.
| Screen recorder | CyanFocus | Video editor | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Knows where you clicked | No | Yes, recorded with the video | No |
| Zooms on clicks | Not built in | Automatically, editable | Keyframe by hand |
| Change the cursor after recording | Baked into the video | Style and size, any time | Not possible |
| Learning curve | Low | Low | High |
| Best for | Raw capture, streaming | Demos, tutorials, walkthroughs | Films, complex edits |

Questions before you record.
Which versions of Windows are supported?
Windows 10 (version 2004 or later) and Windows 11, 64-bit.
Do I have to edit every zoom?
No. Clicks create focus events automatically while you record. You only touch the ones you want to move, resize or remove.
Can I zoom somewhere I didn't click?
Yes. Choose the Focus tool and click the spot in the preview. Manual focus events behave exactly like automatic ones.
Can I keep my normal Windows cursor?
Yes. Set the cursor to Original and CyanFocus draws your usual Windows cursor. You can switch at any point before exporting.
Does it work with videos I already have?
You can import them and add focus manually. Imported videos don't include click or cursor data, so automatic focus and cursor replacement only apply to recordings made in CyanFocus.
